Kind of a Drag

It’s kind of a drag, but I’m going to have to quit blogging for a while. My to-do list overfloweth – renovating bathroom in my house, renovating bathroom in my mom’s house, building outdoor chair, making path in backyard, tiling entranceway, killing Emily (Bell’s automated attendant), enjoying summer…

I'm going to keep reading everyone else's though.

Kind of a drag? It's a total drag for me! (But I'm glad you'll be reading. Every day I feel overwhelmed and on the verge of quitting.)

Hope you'll be back by fall. Somewhere.

Don't forget you have to paint my fire-escape.

Oh yes, that too.

And I have to play one of the characters in Maureen's play. Hopefully not one of the dead ones.

Different play - I'm now focussed on one about a woman going on 4 consecutive blind dates. The dead person play is on hold.

I'll miss your blog.

Ditto IB. You've got spunk, Helen.

Hope you're back soon! But you're right, it's much harder to do this in the summer.

I too am feeling the push and tug from summer's opportunities. Our blackberries are ripe and there is much cobbler to be baked. Good luck with all your projects. I hope to see an occassional post from you. You are witty fun Helen.

You're baking a shoe-maker? Seems kinda cruel. Why not just slap him on the side of the head?

Or use those drumsticks to play a tattoo on his head.

I can dig it--things get busy, something has to change! Come back when you can...

Helen,

You have turned me on to some great music...Harry Manx and Joel Plaskett to name two. Thanks!

I think you should start posting again.

I think you should too. Instead of spending all your time getting your hair and make-up done for photos.

I agree. Mrs Slocombe likes the lurking and has always seen Mrs Bouquet as an unspoilt natural beauty, like Stonehenge
