Tuesday Afternoon/Moody Blues

Tuesday afternoon. No after-work plans, which sometimes is the perfect plan. Scheduleless. Mindless. Endless (or so it seems, but of course that’s not so). It’s still too cold to chase clouds, but I can treat myself to daffodils, wine and chocolate and chase some dreams instead.

I hadn't heard that in forever. Fab.

Daffodils, wine, and chocolate? I'm in.

And maybe the last fire of the season? ...Roast some marshmallows.

Great song. The Moody Blues will show up on my 365 list too.

Indigo, plan to arrive by 7. I'm serving goat cheese pasta with a spicy eggplant sauce, home-made focaccia, and a green salad with maple chipotle dressing. Lisa, you're invited too.

Ahem...

Oh yes, you too Deloney (but there will be no white wine or oysters, sorry) and Maureen, of course.

PS Indigo, can you bring your entire Get Smart DVD collection?

Oh no, it's 7:04! Helen, with a menu like that, I may have to marry you. And yes, I can bring the entire DVD collection, if I stop at Ed's first and get Season 1 back.

goat cheese pasta, spicy eggplant sauce, home made focaccia!? Oh my gosh. I want some.

I think we should put together a 365 cookbook. Maybe the next 365 blog needs to be focused on recipes.

Oh yes, I love the idea of a food-centred blog.

Not to make you all jealous, but I've eaten Helen's cooking. It was really, really good.

Why thank you, kind coworker...

I'm late to this so obviously dinner is over ... but wow it all sounds good ... daffodils, wine and chocolate even without the rest sounds great.

And I LOVE the idea of a food blog ... I have so many ideas for my next one and I'm still only in the 100s of my x365
